At the 2024 annual council meeting of the Camp Waupaca Reunion group, held on Saturday August 24th at the Horseshoe of Camp Waupaca, the council voted on this year’s Hall Of Fame nominees. A nomination was received from John Everman that the entire Wanty Family should be considered for this award. After some discussion, the council agreed unanimously. Congratulations to the entire Wanty Family on this well deserved recognition!

Webnaster's Note: Matt Wanty was discussed as a nominee. It was pointed out that Matt was not as involved as his famliy members. However, Mike Lurie pointed out that Matt did indeed sacrifice for Camp Waupaca by having his family away from home quite a bit each day during his younger years.
